Getting started with workouts
Heather offers a wide range of functional workouts designed to build strength and endurance, improve mobility, and support your overall fitness. All workouts are designed to support real results, whether you're a beginner or advanced. This article will guide you through finding, scheduling and completing individual workouts in the HR App.

Types of workouts
It is important to understand that there are different types of workouts in the app.

- Program workouts: are automatically added to your calendar when you join a program
- Individual workouts: are accessed from the individual workout library. Learn more about individual workouts
- My activity: Your own activities, that are outside of the app, that you can add to your schedule. Learn more about adding your activities.
How to schedule an individual workout
Individual workouts are workouts that are not part of a joined program. You can access individual workouts by selecting Workouts from the main navigation menu, Heather’s Daily Pick or Made for you on your Homepage.
Select Add to calendar from the action menu (⋮) on any workout image or on the workout details page, then choose your desired day. Workouts can be scheduled for the current day or a future date.

📝 Note: If you complete a workout that was not previously scheduled, it will automatically be added to your calendar for the current day.
How to complete a workout
Workouts are automatically marked complete with a checkmark once they are viewed at least up until the cool down.
📝 Note: Stack on workouts (5-15min) do not have a cool down and need to be viewed until the end.

You can manually mark a workout as complete/incomplete by Using your calendar or My Schedule.
When you complete a workout you will see options to share your achievement.
⚠️ When you access a program workout you will be prompted to first join the program, if you haven’t already. If you complete a program workout without joining the program first, it will be marked as a completed individual workout and will not count towards your program progress!
How to find individual workouts
The individual workout library is where you can browse, filter, search, and sort all available workouts.
You can use:
- Full filter menu
- Quick visual filters
- Sort options
- Search bar
Each tool helps you quickly find the perfect workout for your time, energy, and goals.
⚠️ Reset filters each time you search so you don’t accidentally hide workouts

How to view workout details
The workout details page includes all the essential information for each workout and more. Here you can:
- View the workout overview
- View equipment needed
- View weight recommendations
- View the workout breakdown
- See related workout preference - Low Impact, No Repeats, etc.
- Save to a collection
- Share the workout
- Leave a comment for the Community
