Getting started with programs
Programs are structured plans designed by Heather to guide you through a series of workouts over a set number of days or weeks. They’re built for momentum, progression, and confidence - and they’re one of the most powerful ways to stay focused and consistent inside the HR App. This article walks you through finding, joining and completing one of the app programs.

How to find programs
You can view and find current programs by selecting Programs in the main navigation menu.

In the program library you can:
- Browse all programs
- Read a short description
- View program stats – number of weeks, total workouts, and daily time commitment
- Save programs to your collections
Select any program for the full program details.
💡 If you have not joined a program yet, you can also view the available programs from your Homepage

How to view program details
Selecting a program card will open up the details page.
Here you can:
- View the program description and overview video
- Join the program
- Download the PDF calendar
- View required equipment
- View all workouts weekly or in a full list
- Save the program to your collection
- Leave comments for community motivation and support
How to join a program
Find your program
- Go to Programs
- Select a program
- On the program details page, select Join program
💡 If you have not joined a program yet, you can also scroll the available programs from your Homepage
From your homepage:
- Find the program you want to start
- Select join program

Create your schedule
- Choose your start date
- Select your preferred workout days:
📝 Note: Program duration and completion date will be calculated based on your preferred workout days
Select Start program to finish or Next to review notes about difficulty and completion.
Your program is now officially underway!
After joining a program:
- Your Calendar will update.
- Program workouts are added to the days you selected
- Each workout card displays the program name and day
- Your Homepage will update.
- The program you joined will be the first thing you see
- Select Start day XX to get started on the next workout
- Upcoming program workouts will be visible in the My Schedule section

How to follow and complete a program
After you have joined a program your Homepage will be updated to display your current program.

Simply select Start Day XX to begin the next workout in the program.
A program workout is marked complete when you finish the workout video up until the player reaches the cool down marker. Once the program workout is completed, it will get a completion checkmark and your overall program progress will update on your Homepage.
When you finish every workout in your program:
- Your completed program and all of its workouts remain in your workout history
- Your homepage will return to its original state
- You can browse and join another program
- Your overall progress stats (total workouts, minutes, programs) are updated to include everything from your completed program
