I don’t see a casting icon
💡Does your smart TV or device have a built in internet app available? If so, there is no need to cast. You can use the internet browser to login at app.heatherrobertson.com
If you do not see a casting icon at the bottom of the video screen, follow the steps below:
- Ensure your TV and device are both connected to the same WiFi. You cannot use cellular data to cast.
- Go to your TV settings menu and ensure that casting capabilities have been turned on. The terminology will be different depending on your TV model. Look for casting, screen cast, mirroring etc.
- Toggle your WiFi connection on/off
- Toggle your casting device/s power on/off
- Refresh your browser screen
- Be sure your device and TV/external casting device are compatible
- Try using a third party app on your TV or external casting devices. There are a lot to choose from depending on the devices you are using. A few to try include AirScreen, AirPlay&UpnP and DoCast.
- Reference your casting device, third party app or Smart TV’s support documentation for further troubleshooting tips.
